Add tag and note dialog box
This topic provides an overview of the Add tag and note dialog box and all the settings and buttons on it.
This feature requires option E14 Sentinel. If you do not have this option this feature is not available.
The Add tag and note dialog box is opened from the Map view, the Event summary view and the Message summary view on the Sentinel screen. It allows you to add a note or a tag to the item you selected so that you can:
- view the note and tag on the Case Notes View screen.
- include it in reports generated using the Sentinel Report Manager screen.
To open the dialog you must right-click a communications item on the map or on the views.
Once a note or tag is added you can edit or delete it using the View tags and notes dialog box.
Enter a textual description. For example if a sector has dominant coverage over a location of interest you could detail in the note "Sector with coverage over suspects home."
Enter a tag word. For example if a sector has dominant coverage over a location of interest you could detail in the tag "LocationHome" . Note, you cannot use spaces in tags.
Click to apply any changes you have made. The dialog box closes automatically.
