Alert summary panel

??? teamrev26.1 new topic>

The Alert summary panel lists the Smart Track alerts you are monitoring with real-time updates of their location. Which alerts are displayed depends on how you opened the map screen; if you opened the map screen by tapping Sentinel on the Home screen then all alerts you are monitoring are listed, if you tapped Cases then only the alerts related to your selected case are listed, and if you tapped Missions then only the alerts related to your selected mission are listed. You can select which alert's data you want displayed on the map by selecting the check-box alongside the alert icon.

You can tap to zoom to the alert's last triggered location on the map.

Tap on a row to display a menu which allows you to:

  • set the alert as a favorite so that you can quickly locate it by tapping on the bottom of the panel.

  • remove the alert's data from the map.

  • create a navigation route to the most recent triggered alert. For further information refer to How to create a navigation route to a Smart Track alert.

Only those alerts that are selected will have their data displayed on the map. You can select and clear alerts using a few methods:

  • to select and clear all the alerts on the tab use at the bottom of the screen.

  • to select and clear all the alerts for a person in a case tap the circle alongside the case name.

  • to select and clear individual alerts for a person in a case tap the circle alongside the alert name.

You can easily identify which alerts are enabled in OSS-ESPA by viewing the bar alongside the alert name. As shown in the following graphic, a dark blue bar indicates the alert is enabled on OSS-ESPA, and gray indicates it is disabled meaning that you will not receive any new alerts. The time of each alert is always displayed as the "original time" which is the time received from the operator and therefore not necessarily your local time.

If you make any changes on the panel, for example selecting another alert, then when you close the panel using the map data automatically reloads. Spinners are displayed alongside the buttons when map data is being loaded, this prevents you from using the buttons until the necessary data is available.

There are a number of buttons along the bottom of the panel which allow you to manage what is displayed on the panel, these are described in more detail below.
