Add/Edit Operators screen
This topic provides an overview of the Add operators and Edit Operators screens and all the settings and buttons on them. However if you require step-by-step procedures on managing operators refer to Managing operators.
These screens allow administrators to configure attributes associated with operators.
Operator name
This setting is mandatory. If you are:
- Adding a new operator you must enter the name for your operator.
- Editing or viewing an existing operator this displays the name of the selected operator. You can also edit the name if required.
There is a limitation of 50 characters. You must not use special characters, however spaces and underscores are allowed.
Display color
Select a color for the operator. It is recommended that you use a different color for each operator. This color is used to display the sectors and GPS pings on maps to allow you to identify which cell site belongs to which operator.
LIID suffix and LIID prefix
If required, enter LIID suffix and LIID prefix to allow PRTT users to automatically specify the CASEID (LIID) using the phone number and the configured prefixes and suffixes.
For Verizon you may wish to create a blank suffix and a PD suffix for packet data.
Exit
Click to return to the Manage operators screen.
Save
Click to save any changes you have made. If you have added a new operator the list on the Manage operators screen is updated with your new operator.
