Managing wiretap lines
This topic describes how to configure and delete wiretap lines that are used in OSS-ESPA's Live monitoring solution.
This feature requires option E19 Sentinel content log. If you do not have this option this feature is not available.
Before OSS-ESPA's Live monitoring solution can be used you must configure wiretap lines which can then be selected for each queue. You can either assign the wiretap for each queue on the Create new wiretap line and Edit wiretap line screens, or on the Create new monitoring queue screen and Editing queue screen.
-
On the main menu click Intercept Center, then click Queue management.
The Queue management screen opens.
-
In Wiretap lines click .
The Create new wiretap line screen opens.
- In Line alias enter a name that is useful to you, to help identify the phone line further.
- In Line number enter the phone number of the wiretap line.
-
In Select provisioning type if you have a known CASEID (LIID) or phone number that you want to immediately assign this line to, then select the option and complete the relative setting. Alternatively, you can assign the wiretap when you are creating or editing monitoring settings as described in How to create a monitoring queue.
-
Click Save. The screen closes and the wiretap line is added to the Wiretap lines table on the Queue management screen where you can then manage it from.
You may wish to edit a wiretap line to change the alias or to assign it to a CASEID (LIID) or a phone as described in the following procedure. Note, you can also assign the wiretap when you are creating or editing monitoring settings as described in How to create a monitoring queue.
