Gladiator Forensics G-Scout Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

G-Scout ("we," "our," or "us"), provided by Gladiator Forensics LLC, is committed to protecting the privacy and security of its users. This Privacy Policy describes how we report, collect, use, and share information when you use our application. This policy applies to authorized users affiliated with its own Authorized Agency. G-Scout is only made available to Public Safety Agencies, Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement Agencies, and Intelligence Organizations (collectively defined as "Authorized Agencies").

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies solely to individuals who have been granted access to G-Scout by their respective Authorized Agency. The app is not available for public use, and users cannot create accounts independently.

3. Information We Collect and/or Report

We collect the following types of information:

  • User Account Data: Includes credentials, agency affiliation, and authorization status, provided by the Authorized Agency.
  • Device Information: Includes device model, operating system, and network information to ensure secure access.
  • Usage Data: Logs related to app activity for security and auditing purposes.
  • Location Data: If the user chooses to share their location while running the app then it will be reported for the Authorized Agency operational purposes, as required by them, with proper legal and security measures in place. After the location data is reported the same is deleted from the device and all reported data will be stored on the Authorized Agency servers.

4. How We Use Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Authenticate and authorize user access to Authorized Agency sensitive information.
  • Maintain system security and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Improve app functionality and performance.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or share user data with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared under the following circumstances:

  • With Authorized Agency: User data may be accessed by the agency that provisioned the user account for internal security and operational purposes.
  • Legal and Compliance Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or lawful government requests.
  • Service Providers: We do not use third-party providers to store or process data, subject to confidentiality and security requirements.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption, access controls, and secure storage, to protect user data from unauthorized access or misuse.

7. Data Retention

G-Scout does not retain any user data. All user data retention is governed by the Authorized Agency compliance data retention rules. Once access is revoked, data may be archived or deleted by Authorized Agency policies.

8. User Rights and Control

Since user accounts are provisioned by Authorized Agencies, all data access, modification, or deletion requests must be directed to the respective Authorized Agency. We do not allow users to modify or delete their own data directly within the app.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through the Authorized Agencies. Continued use of G-Scout after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
